About this event

ATTENTION ALL ANIMAL LOVERS You are invited to a double header END CRUEL CAGES GLOBALLY Protest Day, because egg-laying hens trapped in cages in factory farms NEVER get a break. ๐Ÿ’ฅ Prior to this event, here is the first disruption of the day (at 1pm) event page link: https://mobilize.us/s/iNQ6ec SECOND DISRUPTION OF THE DAY (at 3pm): Millennium Hotels and Resorts at the luxury Biltmore Hotel in DTLA. Join The Humane League as we defend egg-laying hens and fight to ban battery cages. About 7 years ago, in 2018, Millennium Hotels and Resorts pledged to fulfill a global 100% cage-free egg policy by 2025. The end of 2025 is near, and Millennium Hotels is failing animals tremendously. This global hospitality company has not reported any progress to end animal cruelty, and we are holding them accountable for the abuse they profit from. Hens trapped in these miserable cages are desperate to escape, suffer from broken bones from clashing their delicate bodies on the cage walls, ache from sores all over their bodies, the list of the pain they experience goes on. Join activists in Los Angeles to show up for the animals that are exploited by Millenium Hotels. EVERY Millenium Hotel and Resort must fulfill this policy, at every country it operates in. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Come join the movement! Megaphones are encouraged. We will have leaflets for outreach and signs will be provided. Join us at the meet up location on September 27 at 3pm! ๐Ÿ“ Meet-up location: Pershing Square 532 S Olive St. Los Angeles, CA 90013 ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Schedule: 3-3:15pm: Gather at meet-up location 3:15-3:30pm: Briefing 3:30-3:35pm: Walk to target 3:35-4:20pm: Disrupt! 4:20-4:25pm: Walk back to meet-up spot 4:25-4:35pm: Quick debrief. Then head to food spot! (Ramen Hood) ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿท By attending this and any other The Humane League event, you agree to adhere to The Humane League's Safer Spaces Policy and the event terms & conditions. Thank you for creating an uplifting and supportive space for all activists in our community! The Humane League exists to end the abuse of animals raised for food by influencing the policies of the worldโ€™s biggest companies, demanding legislation, and empowering others to take action and leave animals off their plates. thehumaneleague.org
