About this event

A great film in a cool venue boasting a vegan concession stand! With "fur season" right around the corner, "Ending Real Fur" is an investigative documentary that uncovers the true cost of fur in the fashion industry, from animal suffering to the dangers to our environment and public health. The documentary follows the personal journey of director, Taimoor Choudhry, who comes from a life of glamour, fast-living, and high fashion in Pakistan. Taimoor goes from an uninformed individual wearing a fur-trimmed jacket to becoming a mindful consumer through his conversations with animal rights organizations, a former fur farm worker, lawyers, politicians, and celebrities. Featuring appearances by local friends: Animal rights activist Malcolm Klimowicz, animal rights lawyer Camille Labchuk, and vegan/animal advocate politician Nathaniel Erskine-Smith! We apologize that The Lab is not yet fully accessible, but plans are in the works!
