Lighthouse Sanctuary Work Day & Potluck

Come make some new friends at Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary! <3 What to expect: We will do a few hours of dirty work (scooping straw, wheeling it out to the compost, laying fresh bedding, and other maintenance projects), bask in the animals’ presence, and connect with each other over a vegan potluck. Bring: Water and vegan food to share (the animals love fresh produce, too!) Wear: Boots to handle mud, clothing/hat/sunglasses for the weather, and a mask if you're sensitive to dust Safety: Let’s prevent the risk of Avian Influenza. If you have contact with birds, disinfect your shoes and clothes before and after the visit with bleach or something stronger! Carpooling: It would be ideal to share the cost of gas and limit our carbon footprint.
