They cause profound harm to humans, animals, and the environment— Animals suffer horrifically and endure extreme distress at slaughterhouses. Slaughterhouses exploit workers and cause PTSD. By marching, we will: demand the abolition of slaughterhouses and the permanent cessation of animal slaughter build pressure to shut down existing and proposed slaughterhouses in the St. Louis region and champion a slaughter-free world where animals live safe, happy, and free.
