Vigil for the Animals Who Lost Their Lives to St. Joseph’s Hospital

Join us for a peaceful vigil to honor the lives of the dogs, pigs and rodents who were subjected to painful outdated experiments conducted by St. Joseph’s Hospital. These innocent animals suffered and died and we will remember them and the lives they didn’t have the chance to live. What to Expect: A memorial space will be set up with a banner, photos of some of the animals that have been killed, and flowers. We will stand in solidarity, share words, and reflect with a moment of silence. You are invited to bring letters, toys, drawings, or flowers to lay at the memorial. This vigil is not just a moment of remembrance, it's a call for change. It's time that the hospital stops forcing animals to endure highly invasive horrific experiments such as heart heart attacks lasting up to 3 hours, and commit to replacing animal testing with modern, ethical alternatives. All are welcome. Let’s show St. Joseph’s Hospital that these animals’ lives mattered, that it is time to halt the killing and release the dogs and pigs for rehoming.
