Protest Pig Racing at Montgomery County Fair!

TLDR: Come protest pig racing THIS SATURDAY 8/9 at 7pm at the MoCo Fair (Rockville station)!!! 🚨🐷 The Montgomery County Fair has pig racing multiple times every day for an entire week. This is a totally unnecessary and obviously cruel activity, and we want them to know we won't stand for it! 📣 This is a HUGE ag fair with 4H and FFA kids showing animals, a carnival, and a rodeo next week--there will be hundreds of people attending this weekend. This Saturday (Aug. 9) at 7pm, the awesome @Ken and I are going to be out there with posters and megaphones, and we want you there, too! Ken will pick up us city folk from the 🔴 Rockville station (it's a 45 min journey for most of us, so leaving at 5:45pm is ideal--I'll bring snacks). This is a low lift--please just bring your loudest voice! 💕🐖 🐮🐑 Next week on Friday (8/15) at 6pm we will protest the rodeo--same location, different posters. (Sheep emoji bc they do something called "mutton busting" at the rodeo, too. 🤬) Hopefully the longer notice for this protest will get more of us out there!
