VSDC Book Club discusses “Lessons in Chemistry” (online)

Please join the Veg Society of DC Book Club discussion of “Lessons in Chemistry” by Bonnie Garmus. This meeting will take place online, via zoom. “A gifted research chemist in 1960s California becomes the unlikely star of a beloved TV cooking show, teaching women to cook and daring them to change the status quo.” — Amazon To participate read at least half the book — and RSVP at least two days before the meeting. The VSDC Book Club began meeting online in March 2020 (previously we met in vegetarian restaurants in DC or nearby Maryland or Virginia). We read fiction and nonfiction in alternating months, about any topic.
