Waggles Raleigh Opening Day PROTEST

Raleigh's newest puppy mill store has announced its opening date—Saturday, August 16th, ironically Clear the Shelters Day AND International Homeless Animals’ Day—and we think it deserves a warm welcome We demand Waggles either cease selling animals entirely, offering only pet supplies, OR stop selling puppies from breeding farms and exclusively partner with local shelters and rescues to adopt out animals in need of homes.This will be a peaceful protest on the public sidewalk protected by a permit from the city. Amplified sound (megaphones, whistles, etc) may be used at times. Another protest will be held the next day (Sunday, August 17th, 1-4pm) that will NOT include amplified sound.Please plan to bring your own sign; We will have some extras for folks to use.
