The owner of the location we are targeting (and many others) has stayed silent despite our attempts to communicate and reach out. Let's make our voices heard! A decade ago, Subway promised to eradicate cages, but they've failed to publicly report any progress in over 5 years. These egg-laying hens spend their entire lives in cages the size of a piece of printer paper. This event is part of a larger, nationwide campaign to exert pressure on the leadership at Subway. Activists in cities across the country are coming out to make their voices heard: the cruelty Subway profits off of is profoundly unacceptable and it is time to push them to do better.
