Contra dance + Wren calling! $10 entry fee

Hey, folks! Contra dancing has been one of my favorite past-times for nearly 20 years. It's an English partner folk dance most closely associated with the square dance. There's always a live band and a caller instructing each move--it's very easy to learn and lots of fun! Speaking of callers, I am learning to call dances and I'll be doing three of them at the August dance. (My bit will be after the 15 break mid-way through the dance, just fyi.) Come cheer me on or boo at me--either way, will be glad to see folks there! Also, if you just want to come watch but not dance, you are welcome. Just let me know so I can give the organizers a heads-up and they won't charge you. For dancing: $10 entry fee (you get a voucher at the door for free entry for your next dance) Lesson from 1:30 - 2:00 Social dancing from 2:00 - 4:30 w/15 min. break (stay for as long or as little as you want) You can bring in food and water, there is always a snack table and typically there are vegan treats as well.
