My favorite time of day on the ranch is sunset. It’s when everything exhales. The day’s hustle softens, and the light shifts — casting a golden fire across Stoney Point. For a few quiet moments, the world feels still. You can almost hear the earth sigh in relief. Once a year, we open this moment to others. On the Summer Solstice — the longest day of the year, sacred for centuries to many tribes — we invite you to share this time with us. As the sun makes its slow descent, we’ll gather. We’ll enjoy the company of the animals, feed them their evening meal, and then turn to our own feast. Thankfully, we don’t get hay — we get Chef Dani.
