VSDC Volunteer Day at Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary

Join us for a VSDC volunteer day at Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary! It is a great way to lend a hand while enjoying up-close time with the amazing rescued animals who make Poplar their home. Volunteer tasks will range from those requiring mobility and strength to less demanding activities, including raking, cleaning barns and pastures, and washing and refilling water buckets. Wear clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. No food or drink is available on-site, so bring water with you. Please arrive a little early so we can gather and start at 9 am sharp. By starting early, we will miss the midday heat. Thank you for helping the animals, and we look forward to seeing you there!
