RALLY: Animal Justice in Court to Block Return of Ag Gag Law

Ontario’s dangerous ag gag law—which punishes whistleblowers and hides animal abuse— is back in court. After a judge struck down much of the law as unconstitutional last year, the province filed an appeal in an attempt to overturn our hard-fought legal victory. Join Animal Justice and friends for a powerful rally outside the Ontario Court of Appeal as we return to the courtroom to defend the ruling. The appeal will be heard by the Ontario Court of Appeal on Tuesday, June 24 & Wednesday, June 25.We need you there to show the court—and the public—that Canadians won’t accept laws that cover up cruelty and silence the truth about abuse at farms and slaughterhouses.
