We hope to have a presence at this location to get press coverage as we make a plea to discourage the next owner against continuing the slaughterhouse operation by seeing we won't stop until the killing ends.

More information: As Manning Beef’s financial advisor seeks to sell the struggling slaughterhouse, activists plan a cow vigil to show the public there is no need to salvage a business that profits off of killing. The planned sale of the 3.74-acre site valued at around $21 million, is part of the company’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding which began in late 2024. The animal protection advocates’ hope is that any future buyer will decide to shut down the notorious slaughterhouse and use the land for other purposes that do not involve other animals.
