Welcome to NARD 15 – National Animal Rights Day 2025 (Malta Edition) Join us for the 5th annual National Animal Rights Day in Malta — part of the 15th global edition of this international event held across hundreds of cities around the world. Together, we will honour the lives of animals and raise awareness about the cruelty-free alternative of a vegan lifestyle. WHAT TO EXPECT● A Memorial Ceremony to honour the billions of animals who die each year at human hands.● A Celebration of the growing movement for animal liberation.● A moving march, powerful speeches, emotional music, and symbolic acts that speak for the voiceless. WHEN & WHERE Sunday, June 1st, 2025 Meeting time: 18:30 Meeting point: St. George’s Square, Valletta We'll begin with check-in and preparation, followed by a silent funeral march to the Triton Fountain. There, the official ceremony will take place with: Welcome speech & moment of silence Stories, poetry & speeches (in English & Maltese) Symbolic acts including a flower offering Music transitions and the Animal Liberation Song Reading and signing of the Declaration of Animal Rights. WHAT TO WEAR Participants are asked to wear:• The official NARD 2023–2025 T-shirt (with the globe in the center — see event banner for reference)• OR a plain black T-shirt with no logos.
