About this event
A Memorial Ceremony to commemorate the billions of animals who die every year by human hands.
A Celebration of the progress that is being made towards ending the suffering of animals and bringing forth their freedom.
Welcome to NARD 15! The event will start by gathering on Christ’s Pieces at 12pm, to stand together to remember those animals who have lost their lives, with a minute’s silence and the reading and signing of the declaration. We will then take part in a respectful and peaceful procession through the city, before returning to our starting point. After this, our celebration will start, with speeches from activists, health experts, environmentalists and those involved with campaigning for a better life for all animals. There will then be a chance to socialise and spend time getting to know each other, so bring a picnic and enjoy some music while we talk and meet. Tshirts can be purchased on the day (£15) or in advance (£12) - see separate post in the event.
