NYC: EATS Virtual Action Hour! (Lunchtime)

A bill in Congress is jeopardizing decades of hard-fought progress for animal welfare - can you help? Please join us during this virtual action hour to take action against the EATS act, including harmful language in the farm bill that threatens animal welfare! The purpose of this event is to keep up the pressure against lawmakers and make our voices heard that animals' rights deserved to be protected. Here are some actions we'll be taking during this meetup: Call our House representative and both our Senators Email members of Congress Tag lawmakers on social media Sign up to phone bank (organized by ASPCA) and more! If all this seems overwhelming, don't worry! You are welcome to join the call at any point and an organizer will help explain and walk through any of these actions. You can also do one action one day and save the rest for later. We will be using FAN (Fast Action Network), our THL platform that provides all the scripts, links, and instructions needed to take action.
