About this event

For 10 years, Subway promised its customers it would stop using eggs from cruel battery cages by 2025. With that deadline fast approaching, they’re staying silent — and we’re speaking up. It’s time to show Subway that Michiganders won’t stay quiet while animals suffer behind closed doors. Join The Humane League for a powerful, community-driven protest demanding transparency and real progress for animals. We'll bring the signs — you bring your voice and your compassion. Whether you're a seasoned activist or just curious about how to take a stand for animals, this is your moment. We’ll be loud, proud, and united as changemakers, showing Subway — and the public — that broken promises have consequences. Sign up now and invite your friends to join the action! Together, we’re not just demanding change — we’re making it. This protest will be in combination with Mercy for Animal's protest against Biggby Coffee to get them to drop their surcharge for plant based milks! That protest will happen down the street (3 minute drive) at 10:30 a.m. Everyone will move from protesting at Biggby to Subway at 11:30 a.m! By attending this and any other The Humane League event, you agree to adhere to The Humane League's Safer Spaces Policy. Thank you for creating an uplifting and supportive space for all activists in our community! The Humane League exists to end the abuse of animals raised for food by influencing the policies of the world’s biggest companies, demanding legislation, and empowering others to take action and leave animals off their plates.
