🐔 Portland, OR: Flyering & Protest To End Cages At Subway

Join like-minded activists for flyering and a peaceful, silent protest against Subway in an effort to push them to eliminate battery cages from their supply chain. A decade ago, Subway promised to get the hens in their supply chains out of cages, but they've failed to publicly report any progress. These egg-laying hens spend their entire lives in cages the size of a home microwave. This cruelty is unacceptable and it is time to push Subway to do better. Materials will be provided. SCHEDULE: 11:00am-11:30am: We will put flyers up in the area surrounding this Subway location, alerting people that there's animal cruelty in Subway's supply chain. 11:30am-12:00pm: We will hold our protest on the sidewalk outside of Subway, right next to Stark Street.
