🐔Join us May 15th from 2 - 4 PM at Stop and Shop/Ahold Hq in Quincy Center, MA to hold Ahold Delhaize accountable for the promise it made to end battery cages in its supply by 2025. 🐣Ahold Delhaize is a multinational food conglomerate. It owns Stop and Shop, Food Lion, Giant Foods, Hannaford, and others. Ten years ago Ahold Delhaize made a promise to end battery cages by 2025. 🐤Battery cages are a cruel form of extreme animal confinement. These hens spend their entire lives in the space the size of an ipad. They are never able to spread their wings. This practice must end NOW. 🐥Bring a sign if you want, and bring friends. Signs and a banner will be provided.
