Animal and Nature Lovers' Hike

Join fellow nature-enthusiasts and animal advocates for an easy out-and-back hike (option to loop) in the majestic Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park. We will stroll along the wide and easy StreamTrail under the redwood canopy, along the stream, with the option to loop on the return using BridleTrail for new views and a little more challenge. We will pause for snacks and a relaxing break at the Old Church picnic area before ending back at the Canyon Meadow Staging Area parking area. CLOTHES: Wear layers, shoes compatible with outdoor activity, and sun protection. WATER: Hydration is IMPORTANT--please remember to bring your OWN water. There is water refill stations along the trail. FOOD: Snacks will be provided. PARKING: EastBay Regional Parks charges $5/vehicle for parking and parking at the trailhead is limited. We will carpool from ARC for those that need rides. QUESTIONS/CONCERNS: Message event facilitator for help. - This hike is appropriate for children. - We welcome all well-behaved dog companions to join the fun!
