Whole Foods STOP FRANKENCHICKENS Protest After AVA

Join Mercy For Animals LA volunteers in demanding that Whole Foods stop sourcing Frankenchickens—birds selectively bred to grow monstrously large unnaturally fast. In 2016, Whole Foods publicly committed to eliminating Frankenchickens from their operations by 2024 but have made almost no progress. ​We will be outside the Whole Foods location at 1050 Gayley Ave. on Sunday, May 18, at 4 p.m. to inform the public about this issue and hold the company accountable. We will have a banner, signs, and leaflets. Many of us will be coming directly from the AVA Summit.
