Walk for Spur (Since She Cannot)

We will be marching for Spur, the Sulcata tortoise, who was stolen from her family and home in Africa, and who's been forced to languish in an incredibly unnatural tiled prison for around 35 years. She cannot roam. She cannot burrow. She cannot feel sunshine. She cannot feel a warm breeze. She has no companions of her kind. Her life is miserable and has been for decades. We will walk for her and continue to educate residents and the public on how elected officials refuse to enforce Lincolnwood's own law that prohibits the keeping of wild animals. We will march around #Lincolnwood and make our way to The Animal Store, the menagerie responsible for so much suffering! Exact starting spot will be shared closer to the date. CAA will have signs, fact sheets, post cards, etc. All we need is you, so please help us help all the amazing animals who are so exploited and harmed by this hellhole.
