Anti foie gras protest at Elliott’s steakhouse

Duck Alliance AZ has been working tirelessly to get Elliott’s to remove foie gras from their menu, but they have refused. Please join us for a peaceful protest to educate the public about Elliott’s sale of foie gras and to continue to pressure Elliott’s to remove it from their menu. Foie gras is produced through a process called gavage. This requires forcing metal pipes down the throats of baby ducks and geese multiple times a day to drop pounds of fat and grain in their stomachs. This force feeding causes the animals liver to expand to 10x its natural size, causing immense suffering, including broken beaks, ruptured esophagus, burst organs. 30% of animals do not survive the feeding process. Duck Alliance AZ is working to rid the entire Phoenix area of this torturous “delicacy” and we need your help!
