About this event
Compassion fatigue, productivity blocks, stress and anxiety from conflict, and burnout are all too common in our movement.
That’s why every once in a while, AJA Director Kimberly Carroll hosts a coaching hour to help you with the tools and mindset for staying centered and resilient.
As a coach for changemakers for 14 years and a long-time activist, Kimberly’s developed many strategies and techniques for helping keep animal advocates healthy, empowered, and effective.
Examples of topics you might ask about in the coaching hour:
- navigating relationships around your veganism or activism
- how to deal with the pain of being exposed to animal cruelty
- stressful social media exchanges
- feeling overwhelmed or scattered in your work for animals
- the guilt that comes up from experiencing peace or joy
- what to do with the judgment or anger you're feeling
Bring anything you’re struggling with to this live coaching hour! Folks attending live on Zoom will have the option of un-muting and talking things through with Kimberly in real-time or just asking their question in the chat.
