🌱 Join Us for Our Next Protest! 🌱 📍 Food Lion – James Island | 🗓 Saturday, May 4 | 🕒 11:00 - 12:00 📢 Did you know that Food Lion’s parent company, Ahold Delhaize, profits from cruelty to animals on a massive scale? Their supply chain sources eggs from hens trapped in tiny wire cages, forced to live in filthy, painful conditions with lesions, brittle bones, and constant distress. What’s worse? Ahold Delhaize promised to ban cages by 2025, but they’ve made almost no progress. We’re showing up to hold them accountable—and we want you with us! 💚 Join Charleston Animal Advocacy for a peaceful, high-energy protest to demand that Food Lion ditch cruel cages and adopt higher welfare standards like so many other companies already have. We’ll provide signs and chants, but feel free to bring your own creative flair!
