Angela's Birthday Incline Hike + Burrowing Owl: You're Invited!

Hi everyone! For my birthday this year, I want to accomplish my first go at the Manitou Incline. It would be 100x better if I got to do this with my veg pals. Now, I'm not in any condition to be running up this mountain, so it will be a much more slow-going incline with post-hike lunch @ Burrowing Owl! The plan is to meet at the trailhead around 10:30am and start our ascent at 10:45am. We'll take Barr Trail on the way back down. The current forecast for Manitou Springs says that it should be in the high 60s/low 70s by then, with some cloud coverage and no rain. Perfect! The best way to park is to carpool to Hiawatha Gardens Parking Lot in Manitou Springs (paid) where the shuttle (free) comes by every 20 minutes, so make sure you get there with plenty of time to get the shuttle up to the Incline by 10:30 (the shuttle ride shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to the trailhead).
