🐔 Stick Up for Chickens at Stop & Shop! Join us as we demand that Stop & Shop stop supporting the cruel abuse of chickens in battery cages. We’re holding a peaceful protest at a Stop & Shop location on Thursday, May 29 at 6 PM — and we need you there! After the protest, we’ll be providing free food — come connect, recharge, and celebrate with fellow advocates! Ten years ago, Stop & Shop and its parent company Ahold Delhaize promised their customers they would end the use of battery cages — tiny wire cages where hens are crammed so tightly they can’t even spread their wings. Now it’s 2025, and they’ve broken that promise. It’s time to hold them accountable. Together, we’ll show Ahold Delhaize that customers and community members won’t stand for this cruelty.
