Sanctuary Volunteer Day

Join UARC on Saturday 4/26 from 10:00am - 1:00pm for a group volunteer day at Wild Heart Sanctuary! We will be helping take care of horses and burros destined for abuse and slaughter who were instead rescued and can now live out their full life at their forever home. We will be helping with spring cleaning: shoveling hay, cleaning out barns, and cleaning out the main area. Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and warm clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Work gloves and tools will be provided, but if you have work gloves or rakes you can bring that would be very helpful. Please also bring water and sun protection/sunscreen. Also, we can go out for lunch as a group afterwards. Wild Heart is located in Park City. Please message Max Corwin for an exact address. Alternatively, we will be CARPOOLING. If you would like to carpool, meet at City Cakes & Cafe in SLC (NOT MIDVALE) (1860 S 300 W, D) at 9:00am. You can buy breakfast there. We will be leaving promptly at 9:20am. The group that is carpooling will stay for volunteering and possibly lunch and might not be back until 3pm.
