Try contra dancing (it's fun times!) $10 entry fee (it's worth it!)

Hey, folks! Contra dancing has been one of my favorite past-times for nearly 15 years. It's an English folk dance most closely associated with the square dance. There's always a live band and a live caller instructing each move and it's very easy to learn and lots of fun. To see the dance in action, you can check out some videos through our local dance host's website: http://www.pptdcontra.com/ Lessons are given before the social dance starts--it is a partner dance, but you do not need to bring a partner! $10 entry fee (you get a voucher at the door for free entry for your next dance) Lesson from 1:30 - 2:00 Social dancing from 2:00 - 4:30 (stay for as long or as little as you want) You can bring in food and water, there is always a snack table and typically there are vegan treats as well. For the May dance, there will be an excellent caller from the Denver area who doesn't get down this way much. Highly recommend attending. Hope to see some of you there!
