Lighthouse Sanctuary Work Day & Potluck

This Mother's Day let's celebrate the bonds between moms like Betsy and her son Oliver, with a sanctuary work day. Your presence makes a tangible difference in their lives, and it feels really good! Sunday, May 11 10am-2pm Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary (36831 Richardson Gap Rd, Scio, OR 97374) What to expect: > A quick opening circle to connect & orient > A few hours of dirty work (scooping straw & wheeling it out to the compost, laying fresh bedding, other maintenance projects) > Hang out with the animals > Potluck Bring: > Water > Vegan food/snacks to share (extra produce for the animals welcome too!) > A plate/bowl and utensils > A mask if you're sensitive to dust > Boots for mud and clothes for the weather Safety: Avian Influenza is still among us. If you have contact with other birds, disinfect your shoes and clothes before and after the visit! Let's carpool!
