Please join us in bearing witness at Auckland Meat Processors where we will pay our respects and say goodbye to the beautiful non human animals arriving at the slaughterhouse. We would like to recommend to arrive on time as we do our safety briefing for both emotional support and safety. Feel free to come and stay for however long you like. There is no obligation to stay the whole time. Things to note: Vigils are conducted with a love based approach whereby we educate the the public by holding signs and give the victims a voice through posting videos on social media. We recommend that you wear Animal Save or dark clothing. Hi vis vests will be provided and we request that these are worn for safety purposes. We thoroughly recommend bringing plenty of sunscreen, water and weather dependent gear such as a hat and a raincoat.
