📚Join the Veggie Mijxs Book Club on Sunday, April 27th, 2025 at 3PM ET to discuss this month’s read “The Intersectional Environmentalist” by: Leah Thomas. 🌎🌻We are celebrating Earth Month by reading Leah Thomas’s book on how we can dismantle systems of oppression to protect people AND the planet. The Intersectional Environmentalist examines the inextricable link between environmentalism, racism, and privilege, and promotes awareness of the fundamental truth that we cannot save the planet without uplifting the voices of its people -- especially those most often unheard. It is a call to action to empower ALL people to save our planet.This is a BIPOC-centered virtual event open to all cities.
