Canadian Tire Centre PBR Protest

For the second consecutive season, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) will be in Ottawa, holding the PBR Ottawa Classic at Canadian Tire Centre on June 14. PBR is the largest bull-riding league in the world, exploiting terrified animals for entertainment. The PBR Ottawa Classic will have added significance as one of just two PBR Canada Cup Series events in Ontario during the 2025 individual season. PBR subjects animals to abuses such as smacking the animals on the back of the head, the use of flank straps used to cause discomfort and the use of spurs on riders’ boots that dig into the bulls’ skin. Join us in protesting this form of animal abuse and demand that the Canadian Tire Centre stop hosting bull riding events.
