UUAM Presents a Virtual Tour of Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary

The Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry invites you, your friends and family to step into our virtual tour of Luvin Arms farmed animal sanctuary and immerse yourself in the Connecting Community through Compassion Tour. Kelly Nix, Executive Director of Luvin Arms, will introduce us to several residents of Luvin Arms and share their stories with us. You will learn about the deep connections that exist among the diverse family of rescued farmed animals, who span eleven different species. Feel the transformative power of the four C’s of Luvin Arms —Connection, Care, Compassion, and Community — as you meet individuals with inspiring stories of resilience, witness the exceptional care they receive, and discover the power of kindness that unites us all. You will meet several current residents of Luvin Arms and learn about their rich emotional lives and close relationships with other Luvin Arms residents and staff. UUAM Board member Kathleen Jefferies, who will host this experience, has seen a cow shed tears when a close friend was in a health crisis. This will be a look into a part of life so many of us are not ordinarily allowed to experience and will be truly moving, possibly life changing. The sanctuary will come to life on your screen as you meet the rescued farm animals who reside at Luvin Arms and join us in cultivating a more compassionate world! This experience is offered to you by UUAM during the month of May when we celebrate the mothers in our lives and the value of all family connections.
