About this event

Join us on April 22nd for the latest installment of the Alt Protein Pipelines webinar series, showcasing a team that successfully developed a formal course using GFI’s open-access resources. The Brown Alt Protein Project has catalyzed novel education opportunities within the university over the past year. Starting with a collaborative fellowship whose membership spanned continents, they have now launched Brown University’s first-ever for-credit alternative protein class. Building a course from the ground up is a daunting task for the most seasoned instructors, and this team leveraged GFI’s open-access resources to make the class a reality more quickly and with more diverse academic rigor than would have been possible otherwise. In this webinar, we will explore tangible use cases for integrating GFI’s resources into new and existing educational pathways and use The Brown Alt Protein Project’s story to build a transferable roadmap and navigate the intricacies of curriculum development and approval.
