Beef. It’s What’s for Warming
Wednesday, April 9 @ 12PM (Sturm College of Law, Room 155)
Join the Animal Law Program for a lunchtime advocacy talk with Jennifer Jacquet! What are the climate responsibilities of meat and dairy producers? Looking specifically at the U.S. cattle industry, Jennifer asks what is, what was, and what might have been when it comes to global warming. Jennifer will provide a detailed history of the U.S. meat and dairy producers' involvement with climate policy obstruction, and argue that the forms climate obstruction take are similar to and different from those used by oil and gas producers. Lunch and parking will be provided! Please register here.
