About this event

Foie gras (French for 'fat liver') is a specialty food product made of the liver of a duck or goose. Foie gras is defined as the liver of a duck or goose fattened by force feeding. In this cruel practice, the animals are force fed to the point where their livers are 10 times the usual size. A number of countries and jurisdictions have laws against force-feeding and the production, import, or sale of foie gras. In Indianapolis, this can be purchased at multiple locations. We want to stop that. Please join for this planning meeting where we will discuss tactics and make an action plan to get this despicable practice stopped as quickly as possible. This meeting will be at a restaurant with several vegan options, feel free to eat and/or drink during the meeting!
