Celebration of Life for Arthur Simoneau

Please join us to honor long-time hang glider Arthur Simoneau with a missing pilot formation flyover and celebration of life ceremony. The "missing pilot" represents Arthur who will fly away from the other pilots in formation. We gather on February 15, which would have been Arthur's 70th birthday. The ending is also the beginning! Be sure to arrive early to ensure you don't miss the flyover which kicks off the ceremony. Arthur's son Andre Simoneau will join the formation in a tandem flight and land for opening remarks. The ceremony features a hula performance, video reel, and community remarks. The ceremony adjourns to a potluck picnic. Bring a potluck dish, plate, cup, and utensils for the picnic following the ceremony. Extra plates and utensils will be on hand. There will be a vegan and non-vegan table for food. Vegan includes beans, grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds without meat, fish, eggs, dairy, butter, milk, cheese, honey, or animal products of any kind. Plant-based meat and cheese alternatives are welcome! Parking, covered seating, and restrooms are available onsite. Please do not leave exposed valuables in your car. A guard will watch over parked vehicles during the ceremony.
