About this event

Join us for a Vegan Lunar New Year Potluck, where we celebrate the Year of the Snake over delicious plant-based dishes. Lunar New Year is a time to honor renewal, prosperity, and harmony—values that align beautifully with choosing compassion for all beings. Together, we’ll share vegan versions of beloved Lunar New Year dishes. In addition to the potluck, we'll have a program where we will have a few speakers from the animal rights API community speak on what Lunar New Year means to them. Also, we will host a donations-based giveaway to benefit the Animal Liberation Temple, a Buddhist temple and animal sanctuary run by activist and monk, Reverend Robert Yamada. Bring your favorite plant-based dish, your love for animals, and an open heart. Let’s celebrate renewal in a way that embraces kindness for all beings.
