About this event

End Corporate Greed. Demand Transparency. Empty Cruel Cages! Many eggs sold at Giant Food come from a hen who will spend almost all of her life crammed in a cage. She has painful open lesions all over her feet, caused by the sharp wire mesh floors. She can't escape when attacked by her equally miserable cage-mates. She suffers from brittle bones that easily snap. She can't even spread her wings, or lay down comfortably. Ahold Delhaize, the parent company of Giant, knows this cruelty is happening in their supply chains, and they rightly promised to phase out all battery cages by 2025, but now they have gone back on their promise. Can we count you in to hold Giant accountable? Sign up to join us by holding a sign! All materials are provided. This is part of a global movement to end factory farming, one cruel practice at a time. By attending this and any other The Humane League event, you agree to adhere to The Humane League's Safer Spaces Policy and the event terms & conditions. Thank you for creating an uplifting and supportive space for all activists in our community! The Humane League exists to end the abuse of animals raised for food by influencing the policies of the world’s biggest companies, demanding legislation, and empowering others to take action and leave animals off their plates.
