Potluck at the Mancos Library

Happy new year! Join us for the first potluck of 2025, at the Mancos library. Whether you come from Durango, Cortez, Mancos, or further afield, this event is casual, fun, 100% free, and open to all. We'll meet up at the large community room at the Mancos library. The library is easy to find: If you're coming from Durango, turn left at the stoplight in Mancos, keep driving straight, until you see the library sign pointing you to the right. If you're coming from Cortez, turn right at the stoplight, and if you're coming from Dolores, go straight at the stoplight (it's the only stoplight in town, so it's hard to miss!). Meet starting at about 12:30pm, Saturday, February 8th, and we'll start eating around 1pm. These events typically last around a couple hours, but you're free to stay more or less time than that. Past potlucks have had around a dozen people, and tons of great food. What to bring: A vegan dish with serving utensil. If you prefer not to cook, store-bought drinks or simple snacks like fruit, chips, or hummus trays are always appreciated! Your own utensils (plate, fork, knife, etc). Make sure you bring your own bowl to this one - it's soup season! Feel free to bring your own placemat too if you like. Towels/napkins are also a good bet! Friends or relations who may be interested. ALL are welcome, whether you're vegan or not. Please make sure any food you bring is 100% vegan (no eggs, dairy, meat, honey, gelatin, or animal-based broth). Blank cards will be provided at the event so that you can write down ingredients and any allergens that might be present in the food. You can bring your own ingredient card if you want. This is optional, but really helps for folks who may have food restrictions and allergies.
