About this event
Internal conflict is often the greatest threat to activists' effectiveness, and some simple, early practices can be a stitch in time that prevent painful, costly conflicts in the long run. This stream will discuss Nonviolent Communication, a modality used for connection and conflict prevention. It will provide practical tips to de-escalate conflicts and work together better. Eva Hamer is a longtime organizer in the animal freedom movement. She is a dedicated student of Nonviolent Communication, and she is committed to bringing NVC’s repertoire of creative problem-solving tools to the work of building a better culture in the animal movement.
