St. Olaf & Carleton College Pay-Per-View Outreach - Volunteer Opportunity

Join ARC at Carleton and St. Olaf College in Northfield to talk to students about the benefits of going vegan! We'll be at Carleton College for lunch (11:00-1:30 pm) and then take a short drive to St. Olaf college for dinner (3:00-8:00 pm). Join us at both schools or just one! ARC will set up near the cafeteria with pay-per-view virtual reality headsets that show how animals raised for food under cruel standard farming practices end up in neatly wrapped packages at the grocery stores. Viewers can choose to watch from the eyes of a chicken, a pig, or a cow exploited for her milk. Each student is given $2 to watch one of the videos and have a conversation with an ARC staff member or volunteer about what they witnessed. Volunteers are needed to help distribute literature, set up the headsets, and talk to students about animal rights and veganism as they stop at our table.
