KOALA Club (art & social) - January 2025

🐨❤️ Let’s get together to make art, eat snacks, and build community! Join us on the 3rd Sunday of each month! WHAT IS KOALA CLUB? 🌟 K.O.A.L.A. (Kindness, Outreach, Art, Laughter, and Activities) Club is a NEW art, social, and snacks club by Animal Rights Collective Portland (ARCPDX) designed for folks who care about animal rights and want to connect with others in a fun, low-pressure way. 🌟 It's all about creating a space where we can de-stress through art, laughter, and community. The world can be weird, but hey, we’re in this together—so let’s eat some snacks, make some art, and have a good time. 🌟 All are welcome (ESPECIALLY NEWBIES!) to attend K.O.A.L.A. Club regardless of their activism level. 🗓 Sunday, January 19th (3rd Sunday of each month) ⏰ 2:15-3:45pm 📍 Kailash Ecovillage Community Room (4311 SE 37th Ave., Portland, OR 97202) WHAT’S THE VIBE? 🔴 1. Art! Supplies will be provided. Feel free to bring your own too! 🟠 2. Delicious vegan snacks. 🟡 3. A space that caters to those who experience social anxiety and seek a chill spot to meet people and relax. 🟢 4. A place for outgoing people - we need your energy too! 🔵 5. A space to create bonds that will promote change for animals. 🟣 6. An opportunity to do fun, non-stressful activities together to build community. In addition to art of course! 🟤 7. This club is purely social but we will be advertising upcoming ARCPDX and other events if you are curious about getting more involved in activism. 🌈 8. Expect bright, fun vibes. Trust us—you’ll love it! 🚌 PUBLIC TRANSIT & PARKING: There is free street parking in the neighborhood. DO NOT PARK IN THEIR LOT.
