About this event

Marks and Spencer are one of the largest retailers of RSPCA Assured supplied meat, eggs, fish and dairy. RSPCA Assured scheme (a subsidiary of RSPCA) certify that their accreditation guarantees a higher standard of animal welfare. However, the reality is that they are failing animals on a daily basis, by allowing their certified farms, dairies and even RSPCA Assured slaughter houses, to provide horrific living conditions and shocking slaughter practices. They do this all whilst lying to the public by painting a idyllic image of happy animals, prior to "humane slaughter" and presentation as food. This outreach event is to help people question their purchasing decisions and ultimately their food choices. We do this through raising awareness of how the RSPCA Assured Scheme is lying to the public. This will be in conjunction with Animal Rising. One day, one time, multiple Marks & Spencers.
