Special Virtual Documentary Night! "The Animal People"

Virtual Documentary Night is a monthly online event hosted by Community Documentary Night. It is designed to give people the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on a wide range of topics with people from various backgrounds. This event is in collaboration with Rise For Animals and Georgia Animal Rights and Protection (GARP). Rise For Animals a national animal rights organization on a mission to end nonhuman animal experimentation in our lifetimes. With the support of humans like you, they advocate for the abolition of nonhuman animal experimentation, including the liberation of nonhuman animals. GARP is a Georgia based nonprofit organization dedicated to the abolition of animal exploitation and suffering. They focus on educating the public about the abuse and cruelty that is inherent in the use of animals for food, entertainment, research and fashion. For this Special Virtual Documentary Night, in honor of Veganuary, we are meeting to talk about the documentary, The Animal People. This film looks into the radical animal rights campaign that shook multinational corporations to their core and the persecution of six activists.
