About this event

Eroding Boundaries Between Humans and Animals and Their Legal Implications Join us on Zoom for this lecture by Professor Margot Michel, Chair of Private Law, Comparative Law, Animal Protection Law, and Philosophy of Law, at the University of Zurich (Switzerland). This lecture will ask what makes the creation of human-animal hybrids so problematic when almost all other forms of animal use are legally permitted, what happens to the law when the boundary between humans and animals begins to crumble, and whether it is wise to continue to build a normative order on boundaries that are in the process of dissolving.
