VSDC Vegan Trekkers: Sugarloaf Mountain and Northern Peaks Trail 6.7 mi

Join us for a challenging 6.7 mile hike in Sugarloaf Mountain, Dickerson, MD (Frederick County). This privately maintained property is rich in civil war history and a popular area hiking spot. If we're lucky, we'll see some fall colors! Expect a relatively speedy pace, rocky and uneven terrain and a steep elevation gain of nearly 1,500 ft. You should be able to hike uphill without break for at least an hour, as well as comfortably scramble over rocks and negotiate uneven surfaces. Please wear sturdy shoes/boots and appropriate clothing.
