NYC: Plant-Powered Carbon Challenge Group Meetup

Join us for an update on the Plant-Powered Carbon Challenge. The Plant-Powered Carbon Challenge encourages a partnership between any NYC organization with a food service component and the NYC Mayor's Office of Food Policy to draw down carbon emissions and build a more sustainable food system in New York City. We will discuss our progress in trying to connect with organizations to get them to sign on to the challenge. We'll also discuss the different strategies we've used to approach organizations and talk about our goals for the next month. This event is for you if you're interested in policy, veg advocacy, and building relationships with local community members and institutions. All are welcome. If you didn't have the pleasure to attend our event last month don't worry, you are still welcome to attend this one! Free plant-based food, as well as all materials will be provided. Please bring a friend and let's work together to collaborate, share ideas, and build a team in partnership with our city officials on this exciting new initiative!
